Leaving at 6:20am

I leave in the morning for London, one last time before I don't have a free place to stay. I'm really excited, but I've been so busy that I haven't spent much time planning or even anticipating this trip. I can't wait for a change of pace and a change of place. I'm happy with my day to day life, but I like to break the routine and get away for a bit.

Since Emily's moved to London and I've gotten to visit a few times, I've realized how much I love traveling alone (not that I don't like traveling with other people too). I love walking around a new place, stopping and sitting when I want, walking as fast or slow as I want, seeing the sites and non-sites exactly as I want to see them. Experiencing a place in a way that is uniquely me. I'm a person who relishes in solitude. I live a place in a much deeper way when I can sink inside myself, read, write, and people watch.

I'm waiting to be refreshed and exhausted at the same time.

(And of course there will be updates. Whether they'll be timely, only time will tell.)

Just thought I'd say hi! I hope your time in London is going exceptionally well and that we can get together soon! We just got back last night from Spring break, so we're both exhausted. LOVE YOU!!!
